Chocolate & coconut fondant cake

A very easy chocolate fondant recipe that has been revisited with that extra “cocotouch”!


  • 100 g of cooking chocolate 70%
  • 200 ml of coconut milk
  • 100 g of flour
  • 25 g of coconut sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of rum

Preparation of the chocolate & coconut fondant cake

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie, cut into pieces (careful that the bowl doesn’t touch the water underneath
  3. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the coconut sugar until you obtain a homogeneous texture
  4. Add the coconut milk to the melted chocolate and mix well. Then add the flour and baking powder and stir well until you have a smooth mixture
  5. Pour the batter into a buttered pan
  6. Bake for 10 minutes
  7. Serve warm

# Tip : To add a little crunch and a decorative touch, sprinkle your cake with grated coconut!
